Dementia Activity Specialist - Part-time
Bethel Home, a 200-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility with a 28-bed Alzheimer’s/dementia special care unit, is seeking a part-time Dementia Activity Specialist on the PM shift.
The ideal candidate will have completed dementia specialist training or be a certified activity assistant. Due to the special nature of this population, candidates who are able to facilitate a music program are preferred. Prior activity experience with a specialized population is required. The applicant must have a valid Wisconsin driver’s license and a clean driving record. The applicant must also have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions for groups of managers, residents and the general public. Working knowledge of ECS and intermediate computer skills are a plus. This position also requires candidate to regularly lift, and or move, up to 50 pounds, have the ability to climb, and requires frequent standing.
This position is 56 hours per pay period. Hours include every other weekend @ six hour shifts (10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.), both Saturday and Sunday. Weekday hours will include (4) six hour shifts (example: 1:30 – 8:00 pm) and (2) eight hour shifts (example: 11:30 – 8:00 pm). Flexibility to adjust hours to accommodate special events and resident needs are required.

Transport Driver - Part-time
Lutheran Homes of Oshkosh, Inc. is looking for a part-time Transport Driver. This position requires at least 5 years of driving experience with no moving violations. Experience driving larger vans and buses is required, however, a Commercial Driving License is not. Responsibilities of this position are transporting residents to and from medical appointments, the hospital, and resident outings.
